Bridger Mountain Harmony is a group of about 30 women, under the direction of Certified Director Glenna Berdahl, who love to sing four-part, a cappella harmony. While we are based out of Bozeman, MT, our members hail from as far away as Belgrade, Three Forks, Pony, Whitehall, and Livingston. We rehearse throughout the year, constantly striving to improve our skills. Our performance highlights include producing an annual show in the fall, as well as appearing in the Chord Rustlers’ (our local men’s barbershop counterparts) show in the spring. We also perform locally in other settings throughout the year. The annual regional competition in the Spring gives us the opportunity to put what we’ve been learning to the test.

Women’s four-part a cappella barbershop harmony is an exciting and rewarding hobby. Our chorus has a lot of fun while working hard at improving our vocal and performance skills. If you are interested in learning more about us, feel free to stop in for a rehearsal to see what all the excitement is about. We rehearse most Monday nights at 7 p.m. at the Little Red Schoolhouse across from Anderson School on Cottonwood Road. For more information, please |
Bridger Mountain Harmony is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, an international organization of women barbershop singers. Barbershop music is one of the few truly American forms of music. It has a characteristic sound created by four-part close harmonies sung a cappella.
