Bridger Mountain Harmony is a group of over 25 women, under the direction of Glenna Berdahl, who love to sing four-part, a cappella harmony. While we are based out of Bozeman, MT, our members hail from as far away as Three Forks, Livingston, and Big Sky. We rehearse throughout the year, constantly striving to improve our skills. Our performance highlights include producing an annual show in the fall, as well as appearing in the Chord Rustler's (our local men's barbershop counterparts) show in the spring. We also perform locally in other settings throughout the year. The annual regional competition in the Spring gives us the opportunity to put what we've been learning to the test.
Bridger Mountain Harmony is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, an international organization of women barbershop singers. Barbershop music is one of the few truly American forms of music. It has a characteristic sound created by four-part close harmonies sung a cappella.
